25 Hour Online Yin Yoga & Ayurveda Teacher Training
Ayurveda is an ancient holistic health system originating in India. The word Ayurveda is Sanskrit and means "pure knowledge of life". The wisdom of Ayurveda guides us towards living a more balanced and healthy life. It focuses primarily on lifestyle, food and yoga, and is uniquely adapted to each individual.

​Ayurveda sees man as a microcosm of the macrocosm expressed through the five elements in nature; space, air, fire, water and earth. These elements are represented in the human body as three doshas; Vata, Pitta and Kapha. The doshas govern all physiological and psychological processes within us. Achieving a balance between the three doshas brings natural optimal health.

​Everything that exists, according to both yogic philosophy and Ayurveda, has an energy or life force known as prana. Our physical and mental health is governed by the flow of prana and when prana is out of balance we can experience both physically and mentally symptoms. Together, yoga and Ayurveda supports the balancing of prana.

The knowledge of Ayurveda encourages us to balance our health according to different stages of life, seasons, the environment we live and work in. All these factors have a great impact on our health and from Ayureda we learn to adapt our lifestyle so that we can continue to live in harmony with our body, soul and mind and thus live in optimal health to our fullest potential.

Together we will look at how we are all shaped by the influence of the different elements in our bodies and minds. We will also explore the common denominator of yoga and Ayurveda, prana, and how it expresses itself in the body through the vajus (winds).

In this course you will receive tips and advice on how you can use this knowledge and weave it into your yin yoga classes. In this way, you will get new inspiration on how to set up yin yoga sessions and to guide yin yoga sessions with a theme both on Ayurveda and also the 5 elements.

MALIN TENNET
Since my first 200 hour TTC in 2015 I have travelled the world to discover more about the life changing practice of yoga and to learn more about myself.

I have worked alongside my teachers on a great number of trainings and also furthered my own discovery and growth through Vipassana meditation. My curiosity on what is possible to discover about oneself, together with the ancient and modern teachings of yoga brought me in to the field of Transpersonal Coaching Psychology. A style of coaching that reaches beyond our person and allows us to discover that we are so much more than we think we are.

I like to incorporate both the powerful physical practice of yoga and the meditative restorative practice of yin yoga and meditation into my teachings, and I am truly grateful that I get to share my passion for yoga and its benefits with people every day. My personal practice brings me physical, mental and emotional strength, and my aim as a teacher is to empower my students to empower themselves, to teach to the individual rather than to an asana.

Instead of thinking "how can I force my body into this pose" my wish is to teach to the individual experience of "how can this person's body express this pose right now?" Anyone can work on a pose as long as it is modified and broken down to suit their body.

I am a student and teacher of yoga and practices that expands the human consciousness. I use the practice of yoga and other healing arts to work through personal adversities including healing childhood traumas and dysfunctional behavior patterns. Things that used to weigh down my soul are now my greatest gifts and the basis of my teachings. Grateful to be in the position to share my living wisdom and my effervescent energy, I travel around the world teaching workshops and courses that embrace and uplift communities of all types.

Having studied and trained all over the world in practices ranging from yoga and meditation to shamanic ceremonial traditions, I have assimilated a catalogue of impactful practices and techniques that bring people together with high vibrations and harmony.
